It was a watershed moment when Kellyanne Conway first uttered the phrase "alternate facts." Here we are, 10 years later, dealing with everyday lies that have become numbingly and shamelessly normalized. Our cultural shift to faked AI images and lazy tolerance for outright lies points to troubling moments ahead.

The saddest thing about this continuing fiasco is that nothing is being done to stop this psychopath from the devastation he continues to wreak on everything from A to Z.
I can't think of one area in our government or our country's national monuments that he hasn't destroyed - from the White House (inside AND out) to the Kennedy Center to the Reflectin Pool - that he hasn't tried to put his own indelible stamp on to serve his monsttously gargantuan ego.
Almost all (if not all!) has been done by using our taxpayer dollars, despite his lies about the ballroom and God know what else that "donors" (read: bootlickers wishing to curry favor with the administration) have allegedly paid for.
The arch to himself, the ballroom, the UFC cage match on the White House lawn, the gold crap and signage he's put in the White House, the Reflecting Pool disaster . . . all done to serve this epically moronic egomaniac.
I can only hope the original and true nature of all these things can be restored to their original states by the next administration starting on Day One.
On January 20, 2029, the next administration must cease construction on any of his vanity projects that day, remove his name from everything, and publicly state the truth about all the lies he has tried to make official by addition, deletion, and modification.
We will have a lot of ICE agents that will have nothing to do. If they are protected by civil service rules, they should be disarmed and reassigned to undoing all his lies and taking over the landscaping our National Guard has been performing. We should use them as a massive workforce to perform all the manual labor our nation needs.

He’ll check off the pool and the algae, leave them as ruins, and ignore them, just as he does with all his failed projects, like the never-ending “Ballroom” construction site or the never-ending war in the Middle East. For a while, he’ll try to gloss over the embarrassment, until he’s hatched some new nonsense in his twisted mind.
