I will send you a lifetime supply of pretzels from Canada when Harris is elected. I am praying for a landslide.

A rat caught in his own trap. Hope those on the fence realize Trump cannot be trusted. He says what he thinks his current audience of the day wants to hear then flips back to the his MAGA cult followers. He has no integrity, honesty, no love for his fellow man or woman, is a wannabe dictator who is anti black, anti women, anti LGBTQ and is only out for himself.

Well said!

On the other hand, Kamala will fight for ALL Americans. For freedom. For women. For LGBTQ+. For the middle class.

How many Americans will vote for a convicted felon, a cheat and a malignant narcissist with no real foundation in reality? 🤔

Can't wait until Trump loses in November because after that it is over for him, he won't make it to another 4 years to run again.

Can't wait to celebrate Harris/Walz victory wearing this "We the People means EVERYONE" shirt 👇

Can't wait to vote for our FIRST woman president!

Repubs will find a more coherent alternative to Trump and we’d better be prepared. Those sentiments about mandatory birth, no private healthcare for women and voting rights disappearing are not Trump ideas. He’s their figure head not their planning partner. We must be ready to take on the judicial damage done by repubs everyday forever going forward. Trump will fade, but like a hurricane his party’s damage will take lifetimes to repair. Vote Blue💙💙

He drowning in his own mustard. However, seems funny how the media is turning against him but put up with all the ridiculous stuff he was saying. Until now. Interesting.

It is hard for the press to cover for him when he is melting before our eyes. He’s always been incoherent, but now he’s completely lost his mind.

I love pretzels, too, and especially the vision of DT twisting himself into one! Just a quick FYI, if you ever find yourself untangling a necklace again, get two needles, one for each hand and place the necklace on a hard surface. It is easier to untangle when it isn’t dangling in the air. (Hope that helps you as much as your column helps me!)

Fabulous, Elliot, perfectly fabulous. You know the ins and outs of Trump's wretched soul. Maga won't end when Harris is elected but hopefully his political influence will die.

This whole thing does seem to show that trump doesn't really control MAGA--MAGA controls him. That must be very grating and will cause the spiral to head downward even faster. Because if he isn't seen as "in charge" his whole facade crumbles.

When he claimed that he would vote in Florida one way (or the other) it made me wonder whether he CAN vote. He's been convicted of 34 felonies in NY. Can he vote in a state election? I don't think he can vote in a Federal election, can he?

The laws are complicated. Florida has laws agains felons voting if they were convicted in Florida. The loophole is that if they were convicted in another state like New York that allows him to vote, then he can vote in Florida.

Karen, thank you. What about Federal elections?

Another truly astute and clear description of DT’s disintegration in the face of pushback from some (many?) of his constituents regarding the Dobbs decision at the same time he’s in the presence of an opponent who simply isn’t engaging with his nonsense.

The analogy to your daughter’s tangled, knotted chain necklace works well. One hint from a woman who’s had many tangled chain necklaces - use a safety pin (and sometimes 2, 1 in each hand) as a tool to get in the tiny links. It helps.

Keep up your great and important writing. Also, pass the potato chips (😉😉).

Spray glass cleaner on the chain , rub the knots and they will magically go away. Tis a pity you can’t use glass cleaner on Trump to spray him away.

I cannot understand why the lower middle class and folks at poverty and above believes what he says. In the small community where I live the prodemocratic folks have favored Trump and they have worked their entire lives working paycheck to paycheck. Some like me worked for labor unions and were members and proud of it. One day they will care about ordinary folks. Thanks. Irene Shields

It is nice to see the media finally taking note of Trump's inconsistent and incoherent blather enough to question it. What has taken them so long?

If the orange felon were not a real and vicious threat, his story would be a tragedy. The man is clearly losing his grip. He should be fading away in quiet retirement, but instead he is thrashing away, trying to cope with a situation which was beyond his cognitive skill in in 2016 but he still conned his way into. Now, after 8 years of age-related decay, he is floating in shark-infested waters, dreading electrocution. After eight years of talking with friends and relatives who were taken in by his con in 2016, I will be astounded if he succeeds in 2024. I'm not even sure he will remain upright November, although he is a danger which no reasonable person can ignore.
